You Gotta Have A Niche

You Gotta Have A Niche

If you are going to make money online, you gotta have a niche.

If you believe all the hype the best, most profitable niche is………Internet Marketing. Wrong!

Yes a lot of money is being made in the Internet marketing niche, but that is not the only niche that is making money. If you know how you can make money in just about any niche you choose. It’s all a matter of knowing how to approach your niche.
The http://instantnichewebsite.com/ blog is the place to go when you need help working your niche.

What you need to do is work a niche. Pick something that you feel you can hang with for the long run.
Go to Clickbank.com and open an account, it will not cost you anything. Go to the Clickbank Marketplace and look at the main categories and sub categories. Find your niche.

Select a few products in the sub category by browsing the offers. Look for something that will pay at least $10 or $20.00 commission. Look at the ‘View Pitch Page’ to see the sales page. Pick something that you feel you would buy, if you were interested in that niche. Get your affiliate links by clicking “Create Hoplink” and save them to a text file. Then use a affiliate masking tool, so your commissions do not get hijacked.

Set up a review site. You can do it for free at blogger.com or you can set up a blog on your own domain. I suggest you set up your blog on your own domain, for many reason. I will address the pros of your own domain in another article.

Name your blog, and chose a template. You will want to name your blog something to do with the niche you are marketing. If you have a niche in “gardening” you might want your blog to be. “greengarden.blogger.com” or greengarden that is on your own domain.

After you have selected a niche, find, write, or get someone to write a report about your niche. Make sure it is the kind of report that is going to give some good solid information about your niche/product.

Your “report” in going to be your hook. Your “report” in going to do two things for you. One it is going to build your opt-in list, and two it is going to show your potential client that you offer solid valuable information.

Go to your blog and write a post. You could start out your blog with reviews. Write to be informative. You do not need to write a book. Simply write how you expect the product to help you. This will be your “sales page” along with your first post, you will also have a opt-in form for your report. You should set up your opt-in form so that it will re-direct to the affiliate sales page after sign up.

Your first post could go something like, “When I first started _________ I had trouble _____________, now with “product name” information I now have a ________ that is the envy of __________.” Talk about the benefits of the product, and a link to “valuable report” about the product. Also list the downside of the product. Maybe a video with the product would have made it a little more understandable.

Once you have done this, write some articles, and submit them to some of the article directories that have high PR. Do that manually, then use article submission software to submit to the other directories. I use Article Robot. What I like about Article Robot is that you can add or subtract directories, plus it’s fast. you can get it here. http://www.pleazz.com/recommends/Article_Post_Robot.htm

Write 4 or 5 more articles, 400 to 500 words and submit. Write the article in a way to link back to your blog, or at least put your blog in the resource box.

When you write the 4 or 5 articles mentioned above submit them 2 days apart to the article directory of your choosing. Then ‘re-write’ the same the 4 or 5 articles, and submit them to a few more high PR article directories, that way they are not duplicates.

There is an absolute awesome content re-writer coming out on the market very soon. I had the good fortune to be in on the beta testing of it and I here to tell you it is going to knock your socks off! As soon as it is released I will let you know.

When writing articles you can always make use of the product sales page to get the creative juices flowing.
http://prweb.com/ click on the “search archives” tab. Type in your keyword in the search box. Most of the time you will get a list of press releases that you can use to “add” to your articles. Don’t copy word for word, but you can use most of what you find there.

Whatever your niche is, there are bound to be many groups and forums related to it. Go to http://groups.yahoo.com and search your niche. Almost any niche word will bring up quite a few groups. It will also tell you how many members subscribe to each group. Join at least 3-4 that have at least a few hundred members.

Next, go to http://search.dmoz.org and search “forums” and http://www.big-boards.com/. Join at least 3-4 relevant forums.

For both the groups and forums, you will create a ’signature’ that includes a link to your site. Now join the conversations. Don’t try to sell your products, just make worthwhile posts. Position yourself as an expert in your niche. If you can’t think of what to post, You can always find threads asking for opinions that you can add to.

Rinse, Repeat…
Devote time each day to write 2 articles a day. One for each directory. Try and make a post to each group and/or forum.

It will take a few days for your articles to get accepted and listed. Remember the more you submit, and the more you participate, the more traffic your site will receive. It may take a few weeks to get your first sale, and your sales will a little spotty, but they will come in. The longer you follow this plan, the more your traffic - and sales - will build.

You can get your blog listed in the search engines in just a day or two if you have a few PR-3 backlinks. If you need some quick, free, high page rank backlinks have a look at this site http://www.pleazz.com/craigs/PR_6_Backlinks_Spage.htm. You will learn how to get high PR backlinks at no cost.
